Plumbing of 1,000 Room Hotel Tower & Conference Center to include 450,000sqft of Podium & Program Areas & 6 Restaurants at the Downtown Houston Marriot Marquis. Situated in the heart of Downtown with 29 floors and 1000 hotel rooms, Marriott Marque will be the second hotel to serve the George R. Brown Convention Center. The convention center will be accessible by a skybridge that connects the George R. Convention center and the hotel. In addition to 10,000 square feet of meeting space and a 40,000 square foot ballroom, a lazy river in the shape of the great state of Texas hovers 110 feet above ground level on the Marque’s rooftop.
